Author Guidelines

Lampos Publishing welcomes submissions of original literary and creative works for inclusion in its anthology series. The press seeks poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, visual–literary pieces, cultural narratives, scripts, and multilingual works that reflect depth, imagination, and artistic integrity.

General Submission Expectations

Submitted works should be unpublished, original, and aligned with the theme, category, or creative direction of the anthology. All submissions undergo an editorial review process to evaluate literary merit, clarity, creativity, coherence, and suitability for inclusion. While this is not a scientific peer-reviewed press, selections are carefully curated and evaluated by the editorial team and invited literary readers.

The editorial board reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or decline submissions that do not meet the artistic, thematic, or quality standards of the anthology.

Permissions and Authorship

Before submitting, authors must ensure the following:

  1. Permissions:
Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission for any material that is not their original work (e.g., photos, illustrations, artwork, quoted text beyond fair use).

  2. Authorship Consent:
All authors or contributors listed in the submission must have given their explicit consent to be named.

  3. Ethical Considerations:
For creative nonfiction and narrative works involving real individuals or sensitive content, authors should ensure ethical handling of identities, privacy, and representation.

Editorial and Selection Process

An editor may decline a submission at the preliminary stage if:

  • The work does not meet minimum standards of quality.

  • The submission is incomplete or improperly formatted.

  • The material does not align with the vision, category, or creative direction of the anthology.

Works that pass the initial review may receive editorial suggestions or requests for minor revisions. Authors are expected to revise in good faith to enhance clarity, artistic impact, or coherence.

Commitment to Creative Freedom and Quality

Lampos Publishing Anthologies aims to create a supportive, inclusive platform for writers and artists. We value originality, cultural richness, and creative innovation. Authors are encouraged to submit works that reflect personal voice, imagination, and meaningful artistic expression.

Open-Access Publication Fee

one-time publication fee of ₱1,500 will be charged only to authors whose works are accepted. This fee supports professional editing, layout, formatting, digital archiving, open-access hosting, and production costs. Submission is free.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, please ensure the following:

  • The work is polished, proofread, and ready for editorial evaluation.

  • Titles are clear and reflective of the piece’s content.

  • Creative nonfiction works should stand on their own and present authentic, coherent narratives.

  • Poetry should be formatted cleanly, preserving intended line breaks.

  • Fiction and drama should follow standard manuscript formatting unless intentionally experimental.

  • Visual–literary submissions must include high-resolution images (JPEG/PNG).

When ready, please follow the press's submission checklist.
