Light from Mindanao
Lampos evokes light: the steady glow of a lamp that makes reading and learning possible. We chose the name because we believe good books do the same work.
We are a young press based in Mindanao. We have started with textbooks for DepEd schools and with academic reference books, and we are building our list one carefully made title at a time.
Our design draws on the geometric patterns of Mindanao weaving as a reminder that learning, like weaving, is made thread by thread, by many hands.
Lampos Publishing is based in Cagayan de Oro City.
