Dr. Oliver N. Gomez is the founder and publisher of Lampos Publishing. He served as UNESCO Specialist in Curriculum, Textbook and Teacher Guide Development with UNESCO Myanmar and has also worked with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). He is an associate professor and researcher in physical education and fitness, and a graduate school professor who teaches education and research methodology.
Dr. Gomez is a Routledge author: A Unified System Fitness Design: Concepts of Holistic and Inclusive Fitness Framework (2024) proposes a holistic and inclusive framework for defining and assessing physical fitness. His journal research covers fitness assessment and test validation, from push-up test scoring and local strength norms to accuracy tests for softball throwing and baseball batting, as well as motivation for exercise and the teaching of physical education in Philippine schools.
At Lampos, he brings his experience in curriculum, textbook and teacher guide development to books for Filipino learners and teachers.
