About the journal
A peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing rigorous research in education and allied disciplines, with a special focus on studies that grow out of graduate theses and dissertations.
Aims and scope
The Lampos Multidisciplinary Journal (LMJ) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to disseminating research across education and allied disciplines. LMJ provides a scholarly platform for graduate students, early-career researchers and academic practitioners to publish research that demonstrates methodological rigor, clarity of reporting and relevance to practice.
LMJ adopts a multidisciplinary approach, welcoming studies from education, physical education, sports science, psychology and related disciplines. The journal particularly encourages research derived from graduate theses and dissertations, supporting the transformation of academic work into publishable scholarship.
The journal publishes original research that advances knowledge and practice, including:
- Descriptive and correlational studies
- Experimental and quasi-experimental research
- Survey-based research
- Instrument development and validation studies
- Program evaluation and applied research
Peer review
LMJ follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published work. All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening, followed by evaluation by qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. All submissions are expected to demonstrate sound research design, appropriate analysis and clear interpretation of findings.
Open access
LMJ provides immediate open access to its content, supporting the principle that research should be freely available to the public to promote the global exchange of knowledge. All published articles can be read, downloaded and shared without subscription or payment.
Publication fee
LMJ charges a flat publication fee of PHP 1,500 (₱1,500) per accepted article. The fee is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee and no peer-review fee.
Readers pay nothing: every published article is free to read, download and share, with no subscription or access charges.
Copyright and licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). Proper acknowledgment of the original publication in LMJ is required when the work is reused or distributed.

Publication ethics
LMJ adheres to established standards of publication ethics. Authors are expected to ensure originality, proper citation and compliance with ethical research practices; research involving people should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee. Plagiarism, data fabrication and unethical conduct are strictly prohibited. LMJ operates as an independent academic publication; any institutional affiliations, partnerships or sponsorships will be disclosed transparently as applicable.
